Ren caused a stir when she slapped crown Prince Wulfric Hardradason at her cousin's courtship announcement party. The same day she began an illicit affair with her maid: Amy Boulanger. The day after she issued an apology to the prince at the Hyperborean Embassy, accompanied by Countess Fiona Myrddhin, whom Ren also began to court. During the next several weeks, Ren would uncover and foil a plot by Hyperborea to slip an invasion force into Ys through Castle Octavian, and in the process would kill her father and uncle. During these events, Ren abdicated from House Octavian.
Ren and Amy were subsequently welcomed into House Myrddhin by Fiona Myrddhin and each raised to the rank of Lady. Fiona subsequently proposed to both and the three are now engaged to be married.
The original Lady Karen was infamous as a man-eater who used and discarded men as she liked. Following the Octavian Affair, Ren becomes infamous and scandalous for her engagement to both Fiona and Amy, and for killing her father. She is likewise infamous for abdicating from House Octavian.
Appearance
Ren is 21 Years old as of the events of Daughters of the Digital Empire. She had strawberry blonde hair that she wears long in big ringlets that reach past her ribs. She has a pale complexion and hazel eyes. She stands six feet tall and weighs roughly one hundred and fifty pounds. She has an hour glass figure and is a D Cup. Ren always dresses fashionably. She is an autumn, and dresses in rich greens, oranges, and yellows. She wears short pinet or kitten heels to avoid towering over others. Ren wears a lot of jewelry, rings, earrings, necklaces, and broaches. She favors gold jewelry with tourmaline, citrine, and garnet gems. Ren's favorite color is gold, not yellow. Fuchsia and hot pink vie for second place.Ren smokes alchemical herb cigarettes to combat the weakening effects of her visions. She smokes them with an ivory and silver eight inch cigarette holder, with matching cigarette case. The cigarettes smell like licorice and anise.
Personality
Ren is obsessive, loyal, and impulsive. She is an introvert, but parties well with a little liquid courage. Ren is known for her stubbornness and sass. Ren is afraid of abandonment, and terrified of hospitals. Ren is loyal to the point of codependency. She has an addictive personality and easily becomes obsessed. Loyalty and moral support are Ren's love language. She will have people's back to an unhealthy degree. Ren is also petty enough to enjoy revenge. Although she is smart enough to know that it doesn't help. But she is obsessive enough not to care. Ren occasionally uses bizarre anachronistic turns of phrase and figures of speech. But she's a seer, so people tend to accept it. Ren wouldn't be caught dead wearing ugly clothes. Ren has a modern sensibility and throws things out easily, having grown up in the disposable modern era. Ren is terrible at practical tasks such as housework. She's a former college student in the body of a fantasy noblewoman. She doesn't have much experience with housework as a result. Ren doesn't like the sight of blood. She isn't squeamish. But she is an ordinary person with little experience with violence and trauma. As she works for Duke Delmar, her experience with blood and violence increase, and so does her tolerance for both.Interests
Ren is an avid reader. She reads fashion magazines and romance novels. And privately she reads comic books. Ren took pole-dancing classes back on earth. But otherwise she is unfamiliar with anything resembling sports. Ren is a heavy drinker. She can drink men twice her size under the table. Once she is drunk, Ren becomes impulsive. But you have get her really plastered before anyone would notice. Ren typically sleeps through breakfast, and starts the day with a Bloody Mary.- Ren is short for Karen. Karen was the name of her paternal grandmother. Ren hated her grandmother and hates the name as a result.

Countess Fiona Hester Roxandra Myrddhin is a major character in the Moonlight Hearts series. Fiona is the Countess and administrator of Myrddhin County. She lives in Myrddhin House in Myrddhin City. When she was twenty-eight she attended a party for Lady Carolynn Octavian with the intention of acting as a suitor to Lady Carolynn.

At the party, she met Lynn's cousin, Lady Karen Octavian. Lady Karen slapped the crown prince of Hyperborea after he insulted Lynn. Fiona intervened to stop the prince from injuring Lady Karen. She found herself intrigued by this woman who would defend her cousin even when it was unsafe to do so. And so she changed her plans and began courting Lady Karen Octavian. Fiona would go on to stop a plot against Ys with the help of Lady Karen Octavian and Amy Boulanger. During these events, known later as the Octavian Affair, Lady Karen would abdicate her position within House Octavian. Fiona would elevate both Karen and Amy to nobility by inducting them into House Myrddhin. She then proposed to both, and the three are currently engaged. She is famous as a master Monster Hunter, and well respected as an able administrator of Myrddhin County. But following the Octavian Affair she becomes scandalous for elevating Amy and Ren to nobles in House Myrddhin and then becoming engaged to both of them. Fiona is also somewhat scandalous for wearing men's clothing in her daily life.

Fiona is 28 years old at the start of Daughters of the Digital Empire. She has black hair down just past the shoulders. Her hair hangs straight, and she leaves it loose unless in combat- when she ties it back for action. She has dark green eyes and dark dusky skin. She stands five foot two and weighs roughly one hundred and thirty five pounds. She has the thin muscled build of a gymnast, and is a B Cup. Fiona dresses in men's clothing most of the time. She favors form fitting trousers or breeches, with shirts she leaves open to expose her cleavage. She also favors clawhammer jackets and often wears a sash. At formal events Fiona dresses in daring and dramatic gowns that expose a lot of skin, she normally wears a sash with her gowns and has a dagger concealed in a sash clasp that she uses at such events. Fiona favors high heels to counter her lack of height, often wearing up to four inch heels. For day wear, Fiona favors Hessian boots. Fiona favors royal purples and bright scarlet reds for her clothing, often accented with cool pinks. She favors simple jewelry, often with a poppy or a dragonfly motif. As the events of Daughters of the Digital Empire begin, Amy notices a sudden change for the better in her mistress: Lady Karen Octavian. Following a short period of adjustment, the two begin an illicit love affair. When the affair comes to light, Amy quits her position as maid and returns to live with her parents. When Ren doesn't abdicate as she promised, Amy breaks off the relationship. Ren does subsequently abdicate during the events known as the Octavian Affair, and Ren and Amy reconcile.
Following their reconciliation, Countess Fiona Myrddhin elevates Amy and Ren to nobility as members of House Myrddhin. Subsequently the three become engaged. Amy was publicly unknown prior to the Octavian Affair. She became scandalous and infamous for part as Ren's lover, and then again for her elevation to nobility and her engagement to Ren and Fiona. Amy's worst enemy is her future mother-in-law Evelyn Octavian, who refuses to accept Amy's engagement to Ren.
Since her elevation to nobility in house Myrddhin, Amy has unofficially taken charge of the house staff at Myrddhin House. The staff respect her as a reasonable authority figure and former commoner.

Amy has rich cinnamon brown hair kept short in a bob haircut. She has brown eyes. Amy stands five foot five and weight roughly one hundred pounds. She has a slim build and is a C cup. And although Amy is a noble following the Octavian Affair, she still tends to defer to people far below her in rank. Amy is fine with household injuries and the blood associated with those injuries. She did marry Prince Wulfric, but poisoned him with a silver potion on their wedding night. Duke Delmar annulled Lynn's marriage to Wulfric and proposed to her himself. Following the exposure of her father as a traitor, Lynn took control of House Octavian as Baroness. Lynn is currently engaged to the Duke Leon Delmar.

Leon is the Lord Commander of the Yssian Navy and Captain if his own ship: The Verity. Leon is the highest ranking noble in Delmar Duchy.

Leon has had an infatuation on Lynn Octavian since he was young. During the Octavian Affair, he courted Lynn. And following the death of Prince Wulfric, Leon annulled Lynn's marriage to Wulfric and proposed to her himself. They are currently engaged to be married.

Twenty-four years old at the time of the event of Daughters of the Digital Empire. He keeps his blonde hair, long and braided. He is deeply tanned. He stands six foot five inches tall and weighs two hundred twenty five pounds. He has an athletic build despite his thin frame. Leon rarely dresses in civilian attire, normally wearing a navy dress uniform to formal occasions.
Personality
Leon has two modes. When things are informal, Leon is awkward and friendly and somewhat bumbling. When things are serious, Leon is measured and decisive and cold.
Interests
Leon loves gin and normally has several bottles of navy strength gin floating around his office. Leon is a capable combatant, and keeps a derringer in a hold out holster in his sleeve.
